Senior Application Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer (m/f/d) to join us! As an Application Security Engineer (m/f/d), you will work as a part of our security engineering team and you will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that company and customer data is protected within the organization landscape.
 

• Establishing and upkeeping software application security policies, procedures, and documentation
• Providing technical leadership, guidance, and direction to the product teams
• Implementing software application security controls, including SDLC, and designing solutions to address application security weaknesses
• Analyzing system services, spotting issues in code, networks and applications
• Following security best practices in performing tasks

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as a Security expert (m/f/d) with a strong interest in cybersecurity technologies 
• In-depth knowledge of application development processes and at least one programing or scripting language (e.g., Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, PowerShell)
• Hands on experience with testing frameworks such as the PTES and OWASP
• Applicable knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems, Mac OS X, VMware/Xen, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills
• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems / Management Information or related degree preferred

The Network Engineer / Security Engineer (m/f/d) will support the implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate WAN, LAN and server architecture.
